I received my Masters of Science in Counseling from the University of Arkansas in 2004 and have been practicing since that time.  Upon graduation, I completed my internship with Ozark Guidance Center in Springdale, Arkansas before receiving a full-time position there.  During that time I worked in a wide array of positions and gained valuable knowledge working with groups, families, and individuals, as well as working in the intensive crisis unit and school-based services.  I opened the doors to my private practice in 2009.

  • L.P.C. by the Arkansas State Board of Examiners in Counseling
  • M.S. in Counseling, University of Arkansas, December 2004
  • B.A. in Sociology and Criminal Justice, University of Arkansas, May 2000
  • Internship with Ozark Guidance Center (OGC), 2003-2004
  • Adult Services/Crisis Unit—OGC, 2004-2008
  • School-Based Services, OGC, 2008-2011
  • Supervision/training with senior therapist

  • Extensive training in eating disorders, trauma recovery, bipolar and personality disorders, as well as reality, cognitive-behavioral, and solution-oriented therapy
  • Rape Crisis center,  Advocate, 1999-2003
  • SARPA (Sexual Assault Recovery and Prevention Agency), Board member, 2003-2008
  • SARPA Board President, 2006-2008
